SIPs System

Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are high-performance, lightweight panels used in the construction of walls, floors, and roofs across residential, commercial, and other Type V buildings. These prefabricated panels offer a modern alternative to traditional stud framing, allowing builders to reduce excess lumber use and improve construction efficiency. By simplifying the building process and enhancing energy performance, SIPs are becoming an increasingly popular choice in contemporary construction.

A SIP is a sandwich panel made of:

- Two outer layers: Typically oriented strand board (OSB), but other sheet materials like plywood or metal can be used.

- An insulating core: Usually expanded polystyrene (EPS) or polyurethane (GPS).
